When is it a good time to spill wine?!
This morning at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion at the Broken Arrow Historical Museum, there was an “over pouring” of support for Broken Arrow Neighbors!
Broken Arrow Neighbors was $25,064 short of $952,564 to receive an end of campaign challenge gift of $200,000 from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation to reach total campaign goal of $1,152,564.
The 2014 “Wine, Eats & Easels” Committee Members very appropriately revealed the amount of event proceeds by collectively filling an over- sized wine glass to $952,564 and then spilling over the top as this year’s event produced $60,000 dedicated to our Capital Campaign meaning we have met our Mabee Foundation challenge!!!! THANK YOU 2014 “Wine, Eats & Easels” Committee Members!
What a memorable and exciting day for Broken Arrow Neighbors and ultimately, those we serve.
